It must be love (love, love)

In keeping with the day, I wanted to write about love.

Kevin loves hi-fi.

He loves listening to all kinds of music on it, changing components to see how it alters the sound of various pieces of music, and changing speakers for the same reason.  For any of you who are rolling your eyes heavenwards in the time-honoured indication of boredom, you should try it!  I've listened to my favourite Elvis track about seven times this week on various combinations of CD players, amplifiers, and speakers, and believe me, it's amazing how different the same song can sound!

Today, my beloved Quad speakers (you may have seen me stroking them in a previous post!) were removed from the sitting room

to be replaced by the Kef speakers.

It's funny, the Kef speakers always looked large in our sitting room in Woking.
At La Folie, they look tiny!

But Elvis sounds great (even if Kevin just has to sing "Kentucky rain goes down the drain" during the chorus of my favourite track.  It's a good thing I love him as much as he loves his hi-fi, or he'd be asking for a punch up the throat!!)
