I know I promised to post pictures of the new shelves that resulted from this week's DIY day.
And I know, despite the fact that no-one has said anything about it, that you're all quivering with anticipation to see the aforementioned shelves,
so here they are!
The room we have always called The Library begins to be worthy of its name.
The pantry now has dedicated shelving for booze!
And I have an extra "half-shelf" for my spices in the kitchen.
The eagle-eyed among you may also have spotted my genuine Conxita Costart still life painting and my jar of Pickled People.
Yup, they really are Pickled People!!

and the shelves look very good fantastic job., the weather I can see was 12 degrees. I won't mention the painting, but your 'curating' is very good.
Now I want some shelves! My man will not be happy when I tell him he's got to put them up!

Yes, Carrie, my people are made of tights with little goggly eyes on, then squished into a jar.
They're a great thing to slip in amongst the jars of pickle, etc., on an informal salad table. Someone always picks up the jar then squeals "Urgh! Look at this!"
