In your Easter Bonnet....

The Easter holidays have come and gone.  During school holidays we're lucky enough to have both of our nearest sets of neighbours in residence for at least a couple of weeks, and that means lots of apero parties and lunches that turn into all-afternoon games of boules which trail into supper - as is the way in this little corner of laid-back Languedoc Roussillon.
For some reason, Easter at La Folie required the donning of "interesting" headwear.

Here are some of the highlights of our Easter fun and games.

The beautiful Chloe considers a future career as a "gendarmette"...

...while her little sister Zoe goes for the "London Look" - bowler hat and rolled umbrella.

The girls' mum, Mylene, makes the bunny ears look even more glamorous than usual...

...while their dad goes for a whole new look.  Nice try, Guy!

Kevin participating fully in French outdoor games,

while Aurelie looks unimpressed from her wheelie-bin vantage point.

After boules and after supper, Jean-Pierre tries valiantly to count the bottles.

While Aurelie and her dad, Stephane, bring the evening to an operatic close!

Looks like a lot of fun. Where's the picture of your bonnet? ;-)
