Where did you get that hat?

As an Englishwoman living in France, I think on the whole it's wiser not to say too much about the relative performances of England and France in the rugby World Cup this morning.


Despite showing his support for his national team by sporting the famous "cock hat", there were times when even a dog couldn't bear to watch France playing New Zealand.

At times the frustration led to a beak biting for the cock! 

And after the match, he just wanted me to take the thing off.

I'm just relieved I didn't tell him I was wearing my England knickers!!
